Dozens on Skaneateles Voters join Dale for Hot Dogs and Hamburgers on a nice Sunday afternoon overlooking the lake to talk about Energy, Jobs and Property Taxes.  Republican Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin was a hot topic and has that star quality few politicians, including Dale Sweetland have.

Dale Sweetland at "Mr Sweetland Goes to Washington" Premiere

Hundred gathered to honor Dale and his run for congress late Friday afternoon.

Senator Jefferson Smith addressing the Senate in words not different from
our congressional candidate Dale Sweetland, showing a broken Washington
unpopular and ineffective NOW more then even then...

All you people don't know about lost causes. Mr. Paine does. He said once
they were the only causes worth fighting for. And he fought for them once,
for the only reason any man ever fights for them. Because of just one plain,
simple rule: "Love thy neighbor."

And in this world today full of hatred, a man who knows that one rule has a
great trust.

Lets keep working hard to send Dale Sweetland to Washington where we need
that kind of trust once again
.

Eating sausage at the Great New York State Fair is the equivalent of shaking hands and kissing babies for a politician according to Dale.  That is why on yesterday's visit to the fair, Dale was sure to indulge on some famous Gianelli's sausage.

Dale took time with his wife Sue to visit the many attractions at the fair.  Don't be surprised to see Dale there later this week as well!

After early criticism of the sweetland08.com website by Dan Maffei's handlers about an issues page, the Maffei website has now taken down its events page.  Why?  That's a good question.  We recommend you ask him yourself here.  Let him know that hiding won't get him elected.

Dale unveiled a plan that can cut property taxes in half by closing a loophole in federal Medicaid legislation that allows New York State to pass Medicaid costs on to counties.  New York is one of only two states that forces counties to pay half the cost of the state's Medicaid bill, resulting in counties having to offer and administer every program that the state legislature and Governor decide to mandate.  By closing the loophole, homeowners would no longer have to deal with the burden of paying for Medicaid for property taxes.

For more information on Dale's plan visit the Press Release section of the website.
